Celebra el nuevo libro de Ingrid Rojas Contreras, El Hombre Que Movía Las Nubes.  

Rojas Contreras nació y creció en Bogotá, Colombia. Su primera novela, Fruit of the Drunken Tree (La Fruta del Borrachero) fue la ganadora de la medalla de plata en Primera Ficción de los  Premios del Libro de California (California Book Awards), y una elección del editor del New York Times. Sus ensayos y historias cortas han aparecido en la revista del New York Times Magazine, Buzzfeed, Nylon y Guernica, entre otros. Rojas Contreras ha recibido numerosos premios y becas de estudio de la Bread Loaf Writer's Conference, VONA, Hedgebrook, The Camargo Foundation y la National Association of Latino Arts and Culture. Es escritora invitada por la universidad Saint Mary's College. Su nuevo libro, El Hombre Que Movía Las Nubes, sobre su abuelo, un curandero de Colombia del que se decía que tenía el poder de mover las nubes, ya está disponible.

Celebrate Ingrid Rojas Contreras’s new book, The Man Who Could Move Clouds: a Memoir. 

Rojas Contreras was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia. Her first novel Fruit of the Drunken Tree was the silver medal winner in First Fiction from the California Book Awards, and a New York Times editor's choice. Her essays and short stories have appeared in the New York Times Magazine, Buzzfeed, Nylon and Guernica, among others. Rojas Contreras has received numerous awards and fellowships from Bread Loaf Writer's Conference, VONA, Hedgebrook, The Camargo Foundation and the National Association of Latino Arts and Culture. She is a Visiting Writer at Saint Mary’s College. Her new book, The Man Who Could Move Clouds: a Memoir, about her grandfather, a curandero from Colombia who it was said had the power to move clouds, is available now.
