Lucille Lang Day hosts a program devoted to poetry and the environment. Featured poets include Dee Allen, Avotcja, John Curl, Genny Lim and devorah major.

Dee Allen is an African-Italian performance poet based in Oakland and the author of 7 books and 66 anthology appearances.

Avotcja has been published in English and Spanish in the USA, Mexico and Europe, and in more anthologies than she remembers. She has shared stages with Sonia Sanchez, Piri Thomas, Janice Mirikitani, Diane di Prima, Michael Franti, Jayne Cortez, and with José Montoya's Royal Chicano Air Force, and is a Bay Area icon with her jazz group Avotcja & Modúpue.

John Curl is the author of twelve poetry collections, including his latest, Rainbow Weather: Poems for Environmental Healing, published by Vagabond Books.

Genny Lim is the recipient of two lifetime achievement awards from PEN Oakland and Berkeley Poetry Festival. A San Francisco Jazz Poet Laureate emeritus, she is author of five poetry collections, Winter Place, Child of War, Paper Gods and Rebels, KRA!, La morte del tempo, and Island: Poetry and History of Chinese Immigrants on Angel Island, winner of the American Book Award.

devorah major is San Francisco's Third Poet Laureate and the author of seven books of poetry, two novels, and myriad short stories and essays.

Lucille Lang Day is the award-winning author of 17 books, most recently Birds of San Pancho and Other Poems of Place, and an editor of three anthologies, including Fire and Rain: Ecopoetry of California and Red Indian Road West: Native American Poetry from California.
