Leslie Kirk Campbell is a Noe Valley author who teaches at Ripe Fruit Writing, a creative writing program she founded in Noe Valley in 1991. The Man with Eight Pairs of Legs won the 2020 Mary McCarthy Prize for Short Fiction, was a 2022 Great Group Reads Selection by the Women's National Book Association and was a finalist for the American Book Fest 2022 Best Book Awards.
