Combining history, science, and societal applications, learn how solar cooking promotes optimal health as well as environmental conservation. Laura Chinn-Smoot has been teaching and perfecting solar cookery for over twenty years. As a public school teacher she incorporated methods to include safety, nutrition, science, history, health, geography and environment. She will provide a variety of ovens to demonstrate the degree of difficulty from simple to complex dishes.
