Learn basic storytelling techniques and discover your authentic voice in this interactive workshop series. Personal, ageless, inclusive—the art of traditional storytelling is for everyone.

In this session we will be crafting our stories of challenge.  Whatever a particular challenge meant to you, you faced it down, and became the wiser. Whenever you tell that story, you hope to teach a life lesson, a moral, and empower others to avoid the same conflict or learn how to overcome it.  In this workshop you'll create an empowering tale to inspire others!

Upcoming themes include your defining story, and family folklore.  Workshop participants are invited to share their stories at our Workshop Participants’ Showcase on Saturday, May 18, 2024.

Registration required.  Call 415-355-2886 to register for one workshop or the whole series.

Presented by Kate Farrell, author, librarian, founder of the Word Weaving Storytelling Project.
