Tap into your creativity and explore the beauty of botanical self-portraiture, led by San Francisco artist Alexandra Blum.
Explore self-expression as we invite you to draw yourself as a botanical masterpiece. Whether inspired by the elegance of real flowers or the depths of your imagination, discover what roots you and the emotional weather that surrounds you. In this workshop, we'll utilize mixed media techniques such as watercolor, collage, pencil, ink and gouache to bring your botanical self to life. Bring your open mind, relax and immerse yourself in the self-care and joy of making art.
Blum received her BFA from Cornell University in Painting and her MFA in Printmaking from Washington University in St Louis. She has had residencies at Curtiduria Print shop in Oaxaca, Mexico, and the De Young Museum in San Francisco.
