In this six-week workshop, developed by the Self-Management Resource Center (SMRC) from Stanford University School of Medicine, participants will learn self-management skills for older adults to cope with chronic diseases such as arthritis, hypertension, and diabetes. You will build self-efficacy while learning tools, non-medical in nature, ranging from setting goals, problem-solving, mind-body techniques, better breathing, healthy eating, physical activity, and better communication. For best benefit, please plan to attend all sessions from 2–4pm Mondays, July 22nd–August 26th.
