In Santiago, Chile, Gloria, an older woman, decides to make a change after 10 years of being divorced and with her children grown up, becoming more free-spirited and attending singles discos. Lead actress Paulina García won the Silver Bear for Best Actress at 63rd Berlin International Film Festival and the film was later re-made by Hollywood with its original director, Sebastián Lelio, as "Gloria Bell" with Julianne Moore. Rotten Tomatoes rating of 100%.
