Learn more about international poetic traditions and write your own poems.
Starting with the haiku, attendees will understand its formal rules (as loosely agreed upon when written in English) before moving on to related poetic forms (tanka, renga and haibun). Participants will have a chance to write their own poetry and connect with other writers. This class is taught by North Beach Library adult services librarian Charlie.
Space limited to 20 attendees. Registration required: sign-up online (starting September 18).
