Olivia won the La Rosa Scholarship Award in 2009. Besides her academic achievements, she is equally successful at Latino cuisine. In 2008, Olivia won the first prize in People’s Choice and second prize in Chef's Choice in the Mole to Die contest hosted by Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts.
