Inspired by the life of Black inventor Lonnie Johnson, NASA engineer and creator of the Super Soaker, we will put our brains to work creating inventions to solve real-world problems. For children ages 5 and older.

Make + Do

Find inspiration through craft programs featuring talented artists, makers and even your local librarians. For craft programs, all materials are provided, unless noted.

Science

Gain a new perspective on and understanding of the world through programs on the sciences.

More Than a Month: Black Interest

Connect to engaging discussions and performances related to the Black community.

More Than a Month recognizes important events in Black history, honors community and national leaders and fosters steps towards collective change. Programming features authors, poets and craft classes.
