Join Christopher Pollock, San Francisco Recreation and Park Department Historian in Residence, for an exploration of the city’s past. There are fascinating architectural fragments scattered around San Francisco that may raise the question, “What is the story here?” These pieces are leftovers of a larger construction, once part of a private project, or a public or military infrastructure. This presentation will examine the significance of these sites.
Christopher Pollock is the author of several books focused on San Francisco history, including San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park, Reel San Francisco Stories and San Francisco’s Parks.
