Learn basic acrylic painting techniques while expressing emotions through painting. Sendy Santamaria, the 2024 Summer Stride illustrator-author, will guide and encourage participants to create a painting inspired by their feelings.

Sendy Santamaria is an illustrator and children’s book author from San Diego, based in San Pablo, California, creating art and stories rooted in ordinary life and Mexican American culture.
