This presentation addresses the specific types of disrespect from microaggressions to outright violence that Asian American Pacific Islander communities experience. It is designed to empower AAPI older and dependent adults, allies and community members with the confidence to prevent, interrupt and heal from violence and abuse. This talk is a collaboration between The Institute on Aging San Francisco, The Community Youth Center and the Mayor’s Office for Victims’ Rights.
