An evening with Mark Bieschke in celebration of his latest book, Into the Streets.

Bieschke is the publisher and arts editor of 48 Hills and the SF Bay Guardian and the author most recently of Queer: The Ultimate LGBTQ Guide for Teens (Zest Books, 2019), Into the Streets: A Young Person's Visual History of Protest in the United States (Lerner, 2020) and has just signed on with Oxford University Press as a contributor to the Oxford Handbook of Electronic Music, out  later this year. He writes for several international publications about queer and underground dance music history, and is a member of the Stud Collective, which owns 54-year-old San Francisco queer nightclub The Stud. He lives in Lower Haight with his husband David Schnur, atop a golden hoard of physical media.
