Celebrate the Ocean View Library and community at our Open House! Expect a fun filled day with activities for the whole family. Enjoys crafts, book giveaways, refreshments and information-sharing from community partners. 

  • 10:30 a.m.–12 p.m.: Mask Making - Unleash your creativity and create a mask during our Halloween mask making event. We'll provide all the materials you need to design a unique mask. This is a perfect opportunity to create a last-minute costume or to just have some fun. For children and their caregivers.  
  • 12 p.m.–1 p.m.: Costume Showcase and Snacks - Come dressed in your favorite costume and have your portrait taken. Enjoy treats and snacks on our main floor.  
  • 1 p.m.–2:30 p.m.: Pottery Painting - Drop-in and get creative by decorating a plant pot. We’ll provide the materials and inspiration. Enjoy a propagated plant giveaway with a community plant expert. For adults.
