Learn about the beauty, history and culture of henna. Participants will receive their own henna design, created by artist Renda Dabit. Renda channels her creativity to make each event a unique, communal experience. Join us in the Teen nook. Ages 13–18. Space limited. Reservations required: (415) 355-2825.

Find inspiration through craft programs featuring talented artists, makers and even your local librarians. For craft programs, all materials are provided, unless noted.

SWANA Interest

This program honors the diverse cultures, traditions and histories of Southwest Asian and North African heritage.
