Turan Ethno-Folk Ensemble is a renowned Kazakh folk music group founded in 2008 by students of the Kazakh National Conservatory. They have delivered over 3,000 solo performances across 122 cities worldwide, establishing themselves as a leading musical ambassador of the Turkic world. Their innovative style has pioneered a unique approach in Kazakh music culture.  The band consists of five multi-instrumentalists who master over 40–50 traditional Kazakh and Turkic instruments, blending throat singing, vocals, and epic motifs into dynamic live shows. They perform on authentic nomadic instruments including dombra (two-stringed lute), kyl kobyz (spike fiddle), zhetigen (seven-stringed lute), sybyzgy (end-blown flute), shankobyz (jaw harp), sherter (free reed pipe). Turan has graced iconic venues such as Carnegie Hall (New York), Konzerthaus (Berlin), Palais des Festivals et des Congrès (Cannes), Salle Cortot (Paris), Mariinsky Theatre Concert Hall (St. Petersburg), Beijing Concert Hall.
