Use watercolor paints to get into a mindful flow in this relaxing art workshop. Using theart of Alma Thomas as inspiration, we will create patterns of dots, lines, and simpleshapes. Painting predictable shapes allows your thinking brain to quiet and the repetition helps to calm your mind. The focus will be on allowing yourself to experiment and play, not on technique, and so no experience is necessary and all are welcome. Led by Joy North from Craft Joy Studio.
Joy North is the founder of Craft Joy Studio and leads workshops centered on creative play and accessible art-making. Her programs use simple materials and prompts to encourage exploration and reduce barriers, welcoming both beginners and experienced artists to focus on the creative process rather than the end product.Space limited.
