San Francisco, CA 94102

Seasoned genealogists from the California Genealogical Society show participants how to navigate the library's expansive holdings of historical records, ephemera, photographs and the databases it provides access to, including Ancestry and Fold3.

Additionally, resources such as state and federal censuses, wills, property records, city directories, immigration records, newspapers and more will be discussed. Learn also about important online resources like FamilySearch and the National Archives and Records Administration. Come share your research and learn how to get started or how to break through brick walls if you’ve already begun researching your family history.

Learn more about History and Genealogy through the wealth of resources available at the Library.

An ongoing series of virtual programs to help you navigate the virtual world, from shopping safely to creating a website.
