About Astro Girl: Astrid has loved the stars and space for as long as she can remember. "I want to be an astronaut!" she says to everyone who will listen. While her mama is away, Astrid and her papa have fun acting out the challenges an astronaut faces on a space mission, while also baking cookies and conducting fun experiments. The best part of the day, though, is when Astrid and Papa go pick up Mama from work.

Ken Wilson-Max was born and raised in Zimbabwe, where he trained to be a graphic designer with a strong focus on critical thinking. His latest title Astro Girl is winner of the 2020 STEAM award for picture books UK.
