Kaylani Juanita Summer Stride artist, is a Bay Area native and winner of the 2021 Coretta Scott King Illustrator Honor. She illustrates inclusive picture books, editorial art and afros.

 

Lisa Brown is a New York Times bestselling and award-winning illustrator, author and cartoonist. She is married to the novelist Daniel Handler and lives with him and their teenage son in San Francisco, where she teaches in the illustration department of the California College of the Arts.
