Tracy Badua is a Filipino-American author of books full of humor, magic and young people with sunny hearts in a sometimes stormy world. By day, she is an attorney who works in national housing policy and programs, and by night, she squeezes in writing, family time, puppets and bites of her secret candy stash. She lives in San Diego, California, with her husband, chatty toddler and photogenic Maltese.

Brighton Rose is a middle grade and young adult fantasy writer specializing in sky pirates and girls who lie. She’s an Author Mentor Match mentee, Pitch Wars mentee and occasional doodler. She lives in central Texas with an electric piano and 43 houseplants. You’re most likely to find her at a cheap taco place or at a used bookstore, stretching to reach the top shelf.
