Shanta Nimbark Sacharoff, local author of several cookbooks and Other Avenues Are Possible, discusses the hurdles in organic farming for small farmers and presents some solutions. Next, she demonstrates how to make refrigerator pickles using chemical-free cucumbers from Jacob’s Farm. Attendees will take home a small jar of already made pickles.
