World-renowned master violin maker and the chairman of the Cao Shukun Cultural Heritage Foundation, Mr. Cao Shukun, along with dozens of musicians from San Francisco Bay Area, presents to the community a concert that combines Chinese and Western musical instruments.

This concert is a gathering of music lovers who are committed to promoting and developing cultural exchanges between Chinese and Western music. At the concert, Chinese and Western instruments such as cello, viola, violin, double cello, bassoon, xiao (Chinese vertical end-blown flute), di (Chinese transverse flute), guqin (Chinese seven-stringed zither), guzheng (Chinese half-tube zither, harp), pipa ( Chinese pear-shaped lute), erhu (Chinese violin), gaohu (Chinese bowed string), jinghu (Chinese two-string fiddle), yangqin (Chinese hammered dulcimer), zhongruan (long-necked lute), and qinqin (a plucked Chinese lute) will be featured. Come and enjoy an afternoon with the beauty of the music.

There will be a Chinese traditional music instruments exhibition before the concert.
