        这是一部自传体纪实小说，是二十世纪中叶一位普通中国人的血泪沧桑历史，记录了他所经历的日本侵略、国共内战、建立新中国、建国之初，以及后来一系列政治斗争，反右、大跃进、文革，直至中国跌落至濒临崩溃的黑暗深渊。本书是作者温雅娟基于父亲的笔记与父女之间的多次交流，以父亲的口吻和自传的形式，首次开启的文学探索，也是作者与上个世纪的历史展开的无数次对话。温雅娟为了替父亲完成这部传记，辞去专业税务师的工作，埋头写作，三年时间，完成一部高质量的处女作。
