On October 25, the United States Mint (Mint) debuted a new Anna May Wong quarter as part of its American Women Quarters™ Program. The quarter is the fifth coin in the four-year series that celebrates the accomplishments and contributions made by women who have shaped history.

A pioneering Hollywood actress, Wong is the first Asian American to be featured on a U.S. coin. Learn more about Wong's extraordinary life and legacy. To commemorate this historic occasion the Mint, APA Heritage Foundation, Center for Asian American Media and the Library host a community celebration featuring a documentary screening and panel discussion.

Seating is limited. Reservations required by Nov 11, 2022.

Doors to Koret open at 5:15 p.m.; event starts at 5:30 p.m.
