In honor of San Francisco Opera’s centennial, SFPL is partnering to host a series of personal writing and storytelling workshops.

What’s your story? Join San Francisco Opera and the San Francisco Public Library for a series of free writing and storytelling workshops, The Opera In You. Led by experienced teachers, workshops will explore the unique experiences within us all as participants build storytelling literacy skills in a creative and collaborative environment. Each 5-part workshop series culminates in free public events where participants are encouraged to share their story. Selected stories may even become songs showcased on stage at San Francisco Opera, where opera is for everyone.

Space limited. Reservations required via San Francisco Opera online form.

Exercise your power of imagination with programs that encourage hands-on projects for adults. For craft programs, all materials are provided, unless noted.

This program is sponsored by Friends of the San Francisco Public Library.
