If you enjoy some history in your fiction, spend an hour hashing out the details of—and the history behind—this month’s novel, Beverly Jenkins' Forbidden. In the wake of the Civil War, Eddy Carmichael is rescued in the Nevada desert by Rhine Fontaine, and the two must negotiate their growing feelings for each other while navigating a social order that perceives the two formerly enslaved people very differently.
This is a hybrid event. Registration is required for Zoom attendance. In-person attendance does not require registration.
