 介紹李安背後的大女人—林惠嘉口述歷史。 

導演李安是華人裡獲得奧斯卡金像獎最多的人，包括兩屆的最佳導演獎，一屆最佳外國影片獎，名滿天下，婦孺皆知。像這樣的才子，不知道他的佳人是何種面貌？我在第一次從Zoom 上面見到林惠嘉，跟她講上一席話，小小的虛榮心就得到極大的滿足。李安的才華蓋世，思緒縝密，世所皆知，如果說他的頭腦沒有用在選太太上，可能嗎？李安是29歲結婚的，他似乎從來沒有其他女朋友。他的擇偶條件是什麼？絕不是那短暫的、激情的愛，林惠嘉說了，我們從沒說「我愛你」，李安的告白是「我非常依賴她」，依賴她的生養兩個兒子、照顧家中瑣事，安排休閒行程，傾訴苦惱，還依賴她的智慧、危機處理、及各種生活上的常識及能力，說白了就是管家兼佣人兼保姆兼導師兼心理治療師，而林惠嘉則是以微生物學博士的身分、哲學家的悟境，從天而降，去做這些她老公拒絕做的大小事李安一天到晚全世界勘景、拍片、麻煩事一大堆，他最不需要的就是娶個影后或世界小姐，自戀又自私，還要他安撫她隨時會爆發的小姐脾氣，這說明了為什麼李安儘管每天美女環繞，卻從來沒有緋聞。李安，是個明白人！佩服之至。為李安夫婦感到高興的是，經歷這麼多年風雨，他們先苦後樂，然後走到今天的名滿天下。我衷心的祝福他們：心想事成。
