Learn about the Japanese art of Origami and make your own origami creations. Discover the Indonesian craft of Batik and make a batik inspired artwork. Ages 10–18.

Programs and workshops, book recommendations and more relating to the Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) heritage.

Weaving Stories is the Library's celebration of the many diverse histories and cultures from AANHPI communities.

Find inspiration through craft programs featuring talented artists, makers and even your local librarians. For craft programs, all materials are provided, unless noted.

Attending Programs
