Celebrate the launch of Summer Stride with a day of fun inside and outside the Portola Branch.

Starting at 1:00 delight in stories shared by Drag Queen Per Sia, as she takes you on an enchanted tour that celebrates a rainbow of diversity, fun and the unique value and worth of each of us. A fabulous face painter will also be in attendance.

Next, enjoy the afternoon:

2-5:00    Learn how to ride a bicycle with My Bike Skills

2-2:30    Enjoy the musical stylings of Del Sol

2-4:00    Create stamps and make your own handprinted bandana with GoGo Craft

2-4:00    Mingle with the creatures of Tree Frog Treks in the garden

1-5:00    Make art & trade art by South East district artists at the Chispa, a mobile art cart

All Day:  Sign up for Summer Stride, make a button, and spin the prize wheel

Summer Stride is the Library's annual summer learning, reading and exploration program for all ages and abilities. Read and learn with the Library all summer long.
