The presentation includes information about escape planning, preventing fires in the home, what to do if you are trapped in a fire, fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms and emergency preparedness resources. The workshop also includes an interactive practice session using a mock fire extinguisher with a digital fire simulator and multi-lingual printed safety tips from the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
