Closing reception with artist Penelope Houston for the exhibition Artists in the Archives. Houston will share about her process and discoveries made in creating artwork from the mug books in the San Francisco Police Department Records. Houston's artwork, which reflects issues of gender, race and class, is on display in the current exhibit Artists in the Archives, a companion exhibit to San Francisco IDentities.
Presented by the San Francisco History Center.
