About the Bright Knights Chess Club:

Bright Knights Chess Club is a non-profit organization founded in 1999 in the Excelsior District of San Francisco, California with the mission to “bring the community together through the game of chess”. The organization has hosted the Excelsior Youth Chess Club at the San Francisco Public Library Excelsior Branch from May 2003 through February 2020. Bright Knights Chess Club hosts free chess programs, community events and tournaments in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Summer Stride is the Library's annual summer learning, reading and exploration program for all ages and abilities. Read and learn with the Library all summer long.
