Learn about succulents - what they do, how to grow one and join in on a craft. Make your own suncatcher to reflect the beautiful sunlight. Families will be able to take home a succulent to care for and grow. 

For children and their families. Space limited. Reservations required: (415) 355-2868.

Our Youth Engaged in Library Leadership (YELL) interns have been working hard all summer to prepare a community event. Come and support your local high school teens.


Find out how to adopt a greener lifestyle and discover the outdoors with SFPL and its partners.

Summer Stride is the Library's annual summer learning, reading and exploration program for all ages and abilities. Read and learn with the Library all summer long.
