Book Club: Priya Parker's The Art of Gathering

A continued partnership with TendWell Collective.
Tuesday, 9/12/2023
6:30 - 7:30

An experiential book club for  Priya Parker's The Art of Gathering: How We Meet and Why it Matters. The hour will be part discussion, part reading, part gentle movement and part restorative yoga.

In May of this year, United States Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy released a new Surgeon General Advisory calling attention to the public health crisis of loneliness, isolation and lack of connection in our country. Join the team from TendWell Collective as we get more comfortable building communities of care.

A crucial component on the path toward wellness is cultivating a sense of community. Parker's book invites us to examine and reimagine our gatherings, This book club will provide opportunities for participants to look at all the different ways we gather both personally and professionally.

Email, Anissa Malady, to get a copy of the book for your home library, while supplies last.

We meet on the second Tuesday of the month.
