Listen to a read-aloud of children's book, Love in the Library, by author Maggie Tokuda-Hall. Learn about the inspiration and emotions based on a true story, recounting her grandparents’ time in the Minidoka incarceration camp, Tokuda-Hall memorializes her grandparents’ hopes, worries, and miraculous act of them falling in love, despite the backdrop of a place designed to make you feel inhuman. For children and their families.

Maggie Tokuda-Hall is the author Also an Octopus, illustrated by Benji Davies, The Mermaid, The Witch and The Sea, Squad, illustrated by Lisa Sterle, and Love in the Library illustrated by Yas Imamura with more books forthcoming. She lives in Oakland, California with her husband, son, and objectively perfect dog.
