Film Preview: A Town Called Victoria

When the local mosque is burned to the ground in an apparent hate crime, the town of Victoria must overcome its age-old political, racial, and economic divides to find a collective way forward.

NR, 60 mins., 2023. Closed captions (CC) in English.

Presentation: Islamophobia and Its Impacts

Following the screening, speaker Maha Elgenaidi from ING will define and examine Islamophobia and the many ways it is disseminated, including through the media, politicians, the internet and social media.
