Lawyers in the Library is part of the San Francisco Pathways to Citizenship Initiative program, a free naturalization consultation staffed by volunteer attorneys. The attorneys can answer questions on most legal topics or they can help you with filling out your N-400 Naturalization Application. Space limited. Call to register: (415)662-8901.

While sharing these resources is intended to connect community members with relevant information, the City is not responsible for any content offered or made available through this program and does not endorse these organizations or the accuracy of the advice these organizations may provide. The City cannot provide legal advice to members of the public about their immigration status or rights when encountering ICE.

Attending Programs

All programs are drop-in (no registration necessary) unless otherwise noted. All SFPL locations are wheelchair accessible. For accommodations (such as ASL), call (415) 557-4557 or contact accessibility@sfpl.org. Requesting at least 3 business days in advance will help ensure availability.
