Jeannie E. Celestial (she/her/siya), one of the 6 bestselling authors of The Filipino Instant Pot Cookbook, will share their recipe for Adobo sa Gata (chicken adobo in coconut milk). Celestial will demonstrate how easy it is to cook in the Instant Pot (electric pressure cooker). Taste-testing provided.

Subo means hand-fed morsel of food in Tagalog. Celestial will discuss the history of adobo and how we can connect to our heritages through foodways.

Bring your copies of The Filipino Instant Pot Cookbook for the author to sign. Bookplates will be available.
