We partner with KALW for one of their Town Hall events featuring a distinguished lineup San Francisco/Bay Area poets.

This town hall discussion will draw from the multicultural communities that continue to inspire the region and the world.

KALW Executive Producer Ben Trefny will moderate a conversation with:

Josiah Luis Alderete: Pocho poet, curator, and host of the long-running Latinx reading series, Speaking Axolotl, and guardian of the portal known as Medicine For Nightmares Bookstore and Gallery.

Genny Lim: San Francisco jazz poet and multi-talented artist, known for his collaborations with Max Roach and his upbringing in North Beach.

Andrew Paul Nelson: North Beach poet, organizer, and curator of the Coit Tower Poetry Series. Look out for his upcoming poetry-themed wine bar, The Golden Sardine.

Norman Zelaya: Mission poet and author of "Orlando" (Pochino Press, 2017) and Gente, Folks (Black Freighter Press, 2022).

Don't miss this unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the diverse and dynamic voices that have shaped Bay Area poetry.
