2:00 - 3:30
Learn basic storytelling techniques and discover your authentic voice in this interactive workshop series. Personal, ageless, inclusive—the art of traditional storytelling is for everyone.
In this session we will be crafting our childhood stories. The years of early childhood can often be difficult to capture. To get a sense of yourself and your own life story, take some time to reflect. With coaching and partner sharing, you'll discover a captivating childhood story to tell!
Upcoming themes include challenges, your defining story, and family folklore. Workshop participants are invited to share their stories at our Workshop Participants’ Showcase on Saturday, May 18, 2024.
Reservations required. Call 415-355-2886 to register for one workshop or the whole series.
Presented by Kate Farrell, author, librarian, founder of the Word Weaving Storytelling Project.
