Presentation: The ‘A’ job vs. ‘B’ job Dilemma

Wednesday, 3/6/2024
1:30 - 3:00

Learn how to define the “A” or “B” job in your job search.

You have been waiting for the right job to be available and suddenly there are companies that seem interested. You already have an offer pending but there is that potentially better job right around the corner. The Dilemma – take the offer or wait for the perfect job?

Let’s look at this with some logic, and, with advice from some experts online. We each have our own view of what we NEED and what we WANT and how to move forward.

We’ll start by defining ‘A’ and ‘B’ and even ‘C’ jobs and then discuss how best to get employed, which should be your primary goal.

Presented by David G. Robins. Robins has been an instructor in job search skills for over 10 years and is also a Career Advisor. Robins’ background includes experience in large multi-national companies, small and medium size companies, non-profits and government. He earned his certificate as a Certified Professional in Learning & Performance (CPLP) from the international Association of Talent Development. Originally from Brooklyn, Robins lived 29 years in San Francisco before moving to Oakland. Robins loves to spend time singing and watching TV, sometimes too much TV.
