Improve your balance and confidence. This class is an evidence-based program to improve balance and decreased arthritis symptoms. It incorporates exercises that improve balance, muscular strength, flexibility, and fitness. The class is based on Sun style Tai Chi, which is a gentle form and can be practiced standing or seated. The movements are reviewed by physician and professionals to tailor them for people with arthritis, especial for those people with osteoarthritis of hips or knees.

About the instructor:
Richard Fong is a Tai Chi instructor in San Francisco for 7+ years. Initially, he worked as a teaching assistant for Sifu Bryant Fong at City College of San Francisco. In 2016, Richard began teaching Dr. Paul Lam’s Tai Chi for Self Help for the Elderly. Since then, he has taught at many locations. Richard’s focus is on Qigong, a mindful movement and meditation training integral to Tai Chi, which offers an array of exercises and movements that can be readily adapted to various fitness levels and exercise backgrounds.

We are offering 20 weekly classes, starting March 7 through July 18, 2024. Space is limited. Reservation is required. Call (415) 355-5626 to reserve your space.
