Presentation: Informational Interviewing

Monday, 4/8/2024
10:00 - 11:30

Learn how to be successful in informational interviewing conversations, how to accelerate your search to make it more efficient and to grow your network.

Informational Interviewing is the “Gold Standard” of job search. It falls under two job search categories: Research and Networking. Are you thinking of a career pivot? Talk to someone in a field you are considering and learn what they do, to help you make your new career choice. Are you thinking about a company where you might like to work, talk to someone in that company and learn more about it. Are you considering working in a new function, talk to someone in that job to learn what their day is like. This is information gathering to help make better career and job search decision. Presented by David G. Robins

David G. Robins has been an instructor in job search skills for over 10 years and is also a Career Advisor. His background includes experience in large multi-national companies, small and medium size companies, non-profits and government.
