Make kimchi with June Jo Lee, Food Ethnographer and award-winning children's book author. Participate in a kimchi demo, read aloud and krautchi-making activity from the new Sandor Katz and The Tiny Wild, a Kirkus Review "Best Picture Book Biographies 2022."

Space limited. For children ages 7 and older. Youth must be accompanied by an adult.

Weaving Stories is the Library's celebration of the many diverse histories and cultures from Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities.

Discover new flavors, build cooking skills and try something tasty. For food programs, please be aware of food allergies.

Summer Stride is the Library's annual summer learning, reading and exploration program for all ages and abilities. Read and learn with the Library all summer long.


This program is sponsored by Friends of the San Francisco Public Library.
