从台北南门市场浸润着父爱的炸圈饼,到迎来太平轮噩耗的年夜饭;从长江上神秘的白鳗,都一处的烧饼,从日本人同学家的泡菜,到山东老兵的甜酸包心菜……作为生在台湾的“外省人”,作者在這本書裡用稻香与美食串起來的,是對滋養她成長的那方水土的眷念,是對動蕩歲月中千方百計為孩子們遮風擋雨的父母長輩的感激與懷念,更是一個成年人回首懵懂往事,對當年身處其中而不自知的歷史的重新發現,如隨太平輪葬身海峽的作家、出版家姑父,抗戰飛虎隊中方代表、日本投降時接管台北戰區的空軍司令、孫立人將軍陸軍總部轄下情報署長林文奎將軍的遭遇,父親與外交家、英文教授葉公超先生的忘年交,等等,為這滿载個人記憶的小册子,增添了厚重的歷史感;充滿感情張力的優美文筆,深深地打動讀者心扉。歡迎聽作者分享她的人生故事。

作者简介

黃雅純 (筆名:玄黃),哥倫比亞大學教育學碩士,任職美國公立高中數十年。教學之餘埋頭美術與文學創作,並擔任世界女畫家協會(INWAC)舊金山分會會長。 文學作品有長篇小說《南寧舊事》 (四川文藝出版社,2010),中篇《尋找玉 蘭花》、《紅白罌粟花》《鴿城》《那年,蝶年》等。 其中《尋找玉蘭花》獲 2011年度 中國《小說選刊》全國筆會中篇小說壹等獎。作品集結成書《紐約麗人行》( 長江出版社,武漢,2012)。散文和詩持續發表於美國,中國各大雜誌。
