Read, write and share poems with the North Beach Poets Society. Participate in invigorating discussions, writing prompts and share recommendations from Beat classics to contemporary trailblazers. Come be a part of San Francisco’s enduring literary history and form community.  

This week's workshop facilitator is Richard Loranger.

Richard Loranger is a multi-genre writer, performer, musician, text artist and all-around squeaky wheel who has been working around the United States for over forty years. They have ten chapbooks and six books of poetry and flash prose, the latest of which, Mammal, was released by Roof Books in October 2023. They’ve done hundreds of readings and have writing in over 100 magazines and journals, and teach workshops for the San Francisco Creative Writing Institute.
