Explore a variety of food, beverages, and crafts from El Salvador, Vietnam, China, and Macau. 

  • El Salvador: ceramic pot painting and horchata tasting
  • Vietnam: Vietnamese coffee phin demonstration and instruction to make your own (regular and decaf options)
  • China and Macau: paper lantern painting, egg roll tasting, and egg tart tasting

Our Youth Engaged in Library Leadership (YELL) interns have been working hard all summer to prepare a surprise community event. Come and support your local high school teens. 

 


Find inspiration through craft programs featuring talented artists, makers and even your local librarians. For craft programs, all materials are provided, unless noted.

Summer Stride is the Library's annual summer learning, reading and exploration program for all ages and abilities. Read and learn with the Library all summer long.


This program is sponsored by Friends of the San Francisco Public Library.


Attending Programs

All programs are drop-in (no registration necessary) unless otherwise noted. All SFPL locations are wheelchair accessible. For accommodations (such as ASL), call (415) 557-4557 or contact accessibility@sfpl.org. Requesting at least 3 business days in advance will help ensure availability.
